Learn about property and buyer eligibility, qualifying incomes and home prices and how to use these lending opportunities to make home buying a reality for their clients. Gain an understanding of how and when each specific program can be used to offer their buyer the greatest benefit. This course is approved for four hours of NCREC continuing-education elective credit. The course also fulfills the core class requirement on creative lending for the Canopy Housing Foundation's Workforce Housing Certificate Program (WHCP). COURSE MATERIALS: Course materials will be located in your student dashboard available for download via Canopy Campus prior to start of course. ATTENDANCE REQUIREMENT: Students are required to attend 90% of this class. Students cannot make up missed time due to lateness or absences. Students should ensure they can attend the required classroom hours before registering for a class. Students cannot use the allotted 10% to leave the class early. COMPLETION & PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENT: Students will not receive credit for class time and participation if they fail to adhere to the policies outlined in our Policies and Procedures Disclosure. COURSE CANCELLATION & RESCHEDULING: Canopy Real Estate Institute reserves the right to cancel or reschedule courses that have not yet begun as needed. Our minimum enrollment requirement is ten (10) students. Students enrolled in a rescheduled or cancelled course that has not yet begun will be given a minimum of 24-hour notice of the cancellation or new course schedule. Students will have the option to reschedule to another course or receive a full tuition refund, if applicable. Students who cannot attend the rescheduled course date(s) have the option to be counted as absent, reschedule to another course, or receive a full tuition refund. Canopy Real Estate Institute DOES NOT provide refunds for continuing education courses. You may withdraw from a course by giving written notice to the school prior to day of course. In such event, you will be rescheduled to a future course or registration placed on "hold" status.
