At Home With Diversity® (AHWD) Certification - In-Person Tues, Oct. 20, 2026 from 9:00am-4:00pm
CREDIT HOURS: 4 hours - NC Elective
As of July 1, 2024, if you're a non-resident with a real estate license in South Carolina, you now need to take CE courses that are specifically approved by South Carolina, rather than using CE courses from your home state to satisfy SC requirements. These courses need to be offered by SC-approved providers and meet the standards set by the South Carolina Real Estate Commission.
COURSE DESCRIPTION:REALTORS® know the importance of adapting and remaining relevant in today’s marketplace. By developing a business practice rooted in inclusion and equality, REALTORS® can help buyers of all cultural backgrounds achieve the dream of homeownership. The At Home With Diversity® (AHWD)certification course covers how to work effectively with diverse populations so you can build business success in today’s multicultural real estate market.
Course Learning Outcomes:
Develop an increased awareness of cultural and personal biases that may inhibit you from fully embracing diversity and creating a successful multicultural real estate business.
Learn inclusive, multicultural marketing and advertising strategies to broaden your client base.
Formulate an inclusive business plan to help you create an enduring business that is able to adapt and evolve to an ever-changing marketplace.
This course will also satisfy the following:
NC CE elective credit (4 hours)
SC CE elective Credit (6hrs)

COURSE MATERIALS: Course materials will be located in your Student Dashboard available for download via Canopy Campus prior to start of course.
In-Person Classes only: Students will receive a hardcopy of the course materials when you arrive to class.
ATTENDANCE REQUIREMENT: Students are required to attend 90% of this class. Students cannot make up missed time due to lateness or absences. Students should ensure they can attend the required classroom hours before registering for a class. Students cannot use the allotted 10% to leave the class early.
COMPLETION & PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENT: Students will not receive credit for class time and participation if they fail to adhere to the policies outlined in our Policies and Procedures Disclosure.
COURSE CANCELLATION & RESCHEDULING: Canopy Real Estate Institute reserves the right to cancel or reschedule courses that have not yet begun as needed. Our minimum enrollment requirement is ten (10) students. Students enrolled in a rescheduled or cancelled course that has not yet begun will be given a minimum of 24-hour notice of the cancellation or new course schedule. Students will have the option to reschedule to another course or receive a full tuition refund, if applicable. Students who cannot attend the rescheduled course date(s) have the option to be counted as absent, reschedule to another course, or receive a full tuition refund.
Canopy Real Estate Institute DOES NOT provide refunds for continuing education courses. Course holds are not available, as this course will not be offered again in the immediate future.
