EVENT OVERVIEW: Investing in transportation infrastructure is critical to reducing congestion, strengthening regional connections, and expanding opportunities for residents. The proposed 2055 Transportation Plan aims to link individuals to jobs, schools, and essential services while helping businesses access a broader labor pool. This investment will not only fuel economic mobility but also support the creation of more walkable, interconnected, and livable communities.

Join us for an engaging discussion as we explore the impact of the proposed plan on communities in North Mecklenburg and Iredell Counties. Learn how the Transportation Referendum will drive significant investment inroads, rail, and bus systems that will shape the regions future.

In the second part of the program, attendees will have the opportunity to meet and hear directly from candidates running for public office in North Mecklenburg and Iredell Counties.

PLEASE READ: Canopy Realtor® Association members (primary and secondary members) may register for free; however, a $25 no-show fee will be assessed for no-shows and those that do not cancel two (2) days prior to the event (by Sept. 30, 2025).

All other attendees must pay a $25 registration fee refundable only if canceled by Sept. 30, 2025 (two (2) days before the event). No refunds will be issued after this date.
